Entering A Score Of MB Or GMB Standard Does Not Produce An MB Or GMB Classification

This page explains why entering a score that qualifies for a Master Bowman (MB) or Grand Master Bowman (GMB) classification may not produce that classification in Golden Records.

Why MB and GMB classifications require special tournament status:

Under Archery GB rules, Master Bowman (MB) and Grand Master Bowman (GMB) classifications can only be awarded at tournaments with Record Status or equivalent standing. These are the highest classification levels and require verification through official competition records.

How Golden Records handles these scores:

Golden Records will not return an MB or GMB classification unless the Record Status box is ticked for the tournament
If Record Status is not selected, the classification will be capped at the highest level achievable at a standard competition (for example, Bowman)
This happens even if the score itself would normally qualify for MB or GMB

What to do: If you are entering scores from a Record Status tournament, make sure to tick the Record Status box to allow MB and GMB classifications to be calculated correctly.
