Filter Tables

At the top of most tables there is a block of tools like this:

The options and filters available depend on the context and the data.
Activate a filter subject by checking the Select checkbox and either enter the data to filter for or select the desired value.
For lists the list can be expanded by clicking on 
Only values that are available to filter on will be shown. If a desired value does not appear this is because it does not exist in the source data.
Apply the filter by clicking 
To clear the filter click 
Some tables are filtered by using Excel style filters in the heading.
